Flysimware specializes in making tools, missions, trains, aircraft and helicopters for Flight Simulator 9, Flight Simulator X, Steam Edition FSX, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Prepar3D. We strive to give you the highest quality since 2008.
Flysimware now focuses on vintage to modern aircraft and helicopters. Flysimware now produces a new product about every 3 to 6 months. Our beta team uses real pilots and FSX users who check for mistakes or any issues that may arise from our products. Our loyalty is to give you more and to update our planes when there is an issue. Bill Stack who reviews aircraft for FlightSim.com full time has written many reviews with very nice ratings. Since our first aircraft our models are increasing in quality, extreme realism and turn around time. For our performance and animations we give you the full treatment. All of our aircraft and helicopter's come with custom virtual cockpit sounds for every switch, knob and environment sounds. Our models run between 100,000 and 250,000 poly's. We do not supply 2D panels, besides flat screens and pop up control panels. This gives you HD 3D gauges throughout the virtual cockpit with better frame rates. Textures range from HD photo real images to HD custom textures. Light effects are hard coded which gives them precise alignment and light switches are controlled by the real world location for real world procedures. The latest new feature (DX10) adds active virtual cockpit shadows for the interior model. Some aircraft come with 4 stage propeller effects with the blurred effect now showing low and high rpm effects. We now include AO effects for amazing lighting for exterior and interior models. Depending on the product we add a bones animated pilot so he moves with the controls. We write our own coding for amazing gauges and this in return makes them real world operational. Our aircraft work with custom hardware or just mouse controls. We now integrate the payware GTN 750 touchscreen and Reality's XP WX500 weather radar in some of our aircraft. If you do not own the GTN 750 we supply Flysimware's custom GTN 530 GPS with more features. More info on payware integrated panels can be found on our help page.
